Slaughter To Prevail absolutely smashed through one of the most brutal sets I've ever had the pleasure to witness. Setting aside the fact there were no support acts and they didn't come on until 9:30pm, which was really REALLY odd, later heard there was an issue with spilt beer on the equipment, but it's still very bizarre. With the assistance of smoke cannons, the masked demons waste no time setting to decimate an already eager crowd. The brutality of the songs echoing and smashing through the place, it was fucking hot in there tonight my friends. Vocalist/sheer demon of a man Alex the Terrible takes just a moment to reflect on the state of the world and the hostility ever present, an important message at a time like this "change can be possible, but it always starts from within". Then of course straight back into ear drum exploding brutality which I think could class as GBH on this crowd, but the brummies are absolutely lapping it up! A phenomenal set by what I genuinely believe will be one of the biggest names in metal one day, I just hope when they next come back they come as part of a package tour, I could definitely see them doing some huge shows with someone like Lorna Shore !
