UK singer songwriter Drew Davies has dropped new album “Holloway Nights” the follow up to 2020 self titled debut.

“The Bitter End” opens up proceedings a bit like a punchy upbeat sermon, with upbeat tones with a little bit of crunch in it, really sits well on the ear drums, like a cross between Ghost and old school David Bowie in terms of vibe and feel.

Following on we’re taken through a journey of emotion through life experience, the obscurity and conflicting tones of “Heavy Manners”, the darkness coated with a sweet tune in “The Comeback”, a desertesque trance vibe with an unsettling edge with “Bad Girl” and ending on a reflective but solemn contemplation with a little bit of a kick in “Should Have Known Better”.

There’s a great simplistic feel to the way he bends genres to bring forth something so laid back but intelligent is a delight to listen to, the guys definitely got quite a career ahead of him.
