Hark! Frozen Crown raises the beacon, and, fellow metal warriors, we must answer!

Milanese power metallers, Frozen Crown have accomplished much in the band’s seven short years – playing festivals and touring with other power metal icons such as Dragonforce and Nanowar Of Steel. War Hearts, the band’s latest album is their fifth album; the first as a six-piece band and their first on Napalm Records.

New single, Steel and Gold, provides an absolutely galloping four minutes and seventeen seconds of siege laying, cavalry charging, wyvern fighting power metal perfection. Niso Tomasini’s drumming bolts through the song like a mighty warhorse. Giada Etro offering potent vocals that makes Steel and Gold absolutely soar. Battling bass tones from Francasco Zof hit you in the chest like arrows from finest archers. The trio of guitarists; Frederico Mondelli, Fabiola Bellomo and 18 year old prodigy Allessia Lanzone hack and slash formidable riffs throughout.

Frozen Crown comments on the new single “Steel And Gold“:

“We're extremely excited to have the ‘Steel And Gold’ official video finally released via Napalm Records. This is the fulfillment of years of hard work, as well as a fresh start! This video doesn't deviate from the usual FROZEN CROWN style, it just consolidates it. Very often, our videos have been labeled as 'just a bunch of people having the time of their lives playing metal in some beautiful scenery... plus a lot of hair'. We must say, we totally agree!

This time, though, the beautiful scenery is the gorgeous "Castello dei Doria", in Dolceacqua, Liguria, in northwestern Italy, and the 'bunch of people’ is just one more person on guitar, adding firepower (and hair) to the ensemble. ‘Steel and Gold” is a song about loyalty, integrity and self improvement. It’s about remaining true to your ideals and about the search for unattainable perfection.”

Frozen Crown are special guests for Kamelot on the Awaken The World Tour 2024 with Ad Infinitum and Blackbriar starting in October, and invading English shores in November. I, for one, will saddling up my mount, polishing my lance, and heading to join the Frozen Crown militia.
